The day before the 20th anniversary of 9/11 Jaclyn had a simple idea to show appreciation for her neighborhood fire station with an intentional meal. She went onto the internet and asked for help to split the cost of the meal and ended up with over 100  people to help. That 9/11 lunch was provided to 4 different fire stations along with generous donations were distributed. All that participated were mentioning how there was a need for our charity for firefighters to provide community support.. Fuel The Firefighters is now officially a charity that plans to carry out an appreciation day to all firefighters on 9/11 and to provide supportive grants in the future.  Thank you to the helping hearts of this amazing community And thank you to all our fire fighters and first responders for continuing to keep our communities safe!

Fuel The Firefighters mission is to support and enhance the safety and well-being of the firefighters in the Dallas metroplex. Through community engagement, fundraising, and resource provision, we aim to show appreciation, provide essential equipment, and promote a stronger, safer environment for our dedicated firefighters.

Jackie is a native Dallasite. She grew up in Far North Dallas where she attended RISD schools: Brentfield, Parkhill and Richardson. During the weekdays, she works as a dental Hygienist.
